We are seeking farms throughout Vermont who are producing Abundance and would like to host a Harvest Picnic on their land.

Market Gardeners

Shepherds and Grazers

Pastured Poultry

Orchards

Dairy Farmers

We are organizing a Harvest Picnic series in which we will create and cook an impromptu menu based on what’s coming out of your garden and field all over open flame in our pop up Kitchen on your land!

We’d also love to have a medley of farms and producers involved who can represent the diversity of each specific region, for example, The Mad River Valley, Champlain Valley, or Central Vermont.

Seasons

The Harvest Picnic will take place for the duration of the year to really capture the nuances of Vermont’s drastic growing season.

Picnics will be hosted on Thursday or Friday evenings.


Quality

We are seeking farms and producers that adhere to strictly organic, regenerative, humane and beautiful practices.

Logistics

The Shepherd’s Hearth intends to purchase all product from the farmers at wholesale prices.

This is not a ticketed event. Sales will be made at a point of sale, a la carte.

Promotion and marketing will be done by the Shepherd’s Hearth, the hosting venue, and all involved farms.

Setup, prep and breakdown will be done day of with our mobile catering operation.
